  • In service with the British Army from 1976, this new weapon was designed to possess greater range and lethality than its predecessor, whilst retaining the portability of that unit, however, this did make it a heavy gun. 
  • Produced in large numbers, these guns were exported widely and served with distinction during the Falklands War.
